Since the game ended well after my East Coast bedtime, I had no idea Clayton Kershaw had pitched a no-hitter until I turned on my computer today.
From the article above, and elsewhere it seems like this was one amazingly dominant performance, and if I was Hanley Ramirez, I’d feel pretty crappy today. 😉
But, as good as Kershaw was and as impressive as it is to get a no-hitter with 15 Ks and zero walks, this little nugget from the article above is truly amazing:
• Vin Scully reportedly called his 19th no-hitter on Wednesday. He’s also called three perfect games.
Which just goes to show, that no matter what you do in baseball, Vin is still better than you. 😉
