I’ve seen teams go on a bit of a slide, or even tail off at the end of a long season, but what is happening with Syracuse is ridiculous. They’ve gone from undefeated and number 1 in the country to a suddenly very mediocre team just like that! This tells me two things. One, there aren’t any really great teams in the NCAA this year, so anyone can win the championship, and when you stop shooting well, you’re very, very beatable. That’s how you lose 4 out of 5 after winning your first 25.
Here’s hoping they get out of this offensive funk before we have an early NCAA tournament exit.
